Acacia Gives Back this Holiday Season

This holiday season, the Acacia team continued its tradition of giving back by participating in the Maynard Police Department’s annual toy drive. The drive is organized each year to bring toys to local children in need.

Acacia Gives Back this Holiday Season

What originally started as one employee’s vision has become a company-wide initiative. This was our eighth year participating in the drive, and we were proud to contribute more than 100 toys! We know this time of year can be difficult for many families, and we’re honored to be able to bring a little holiday joy to our neighbors who need it the most.

Pictured below are Acacia employees Karen Gellatly, Linda Huber, and Wendy Kump alongside Officer Manchuso and Detective Sweeney who picked up the gifts, and Debby McNulty of Thyme in the Garden who graciously transported our donations.

Keeping with the giving theme, this year our employees also participated in our first food drive for the Maynard Open Table food bank, donating more than 200 pounds of food. We’re always looking for new ways to give back to our community and we plan to make this food drive an annual tradition as well.

Thank you to all my fellow Acacia employees who participated in these initiatives. I am honored to work alongside such passionate and engaged coworkers, this year and every year. And to all of our blog readers, we wish you a happy and healthy holiday season from the whole Acacia family.
