SUMMARY:Cisco Live
DESCRIPTION:AI takes center stage at Cisco Live 2025 Amsterdam\, empowering you to expand your horizons and immersing you in the next wave of Cisco’s transformative technologies. Learn to work faster\, safer\, and smarter and become part of the movement that will Go Beyond what’s possible. \nLearn More \nAcacia Expert Presenting at Cisco Live 2025 Amsterdam\n \nAdvancements and Applications of Coherent Pluggable Technology in High Bandwidth Transport Networks\nSpeaker:  Anuj Malik\, Director\, Product Strategy & Management\nDate/Time: Wednesday\, Feb 12 at 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM CET in session room D203 \nCoherent pluggable technology has emerged as a pivotal solution\, integrating coherent optics into pluggable transceivers. This innovation offers a scalable\, flexible\, and cost-effective approach to meet the increasing demand for bandwidth. This presentation will delve into the technical underpinnings of coherent pluggable technology\, including key components such as tunable lasers\, high-speed ADC/DACs\, and sophisticated DSP algorithms. It will also explore the performance metrics\, such as data rates\, reach\, and power consumption\, comparing them with traditional coherent solutions. Furthermore\, the session will highlight real-world deployment scenarios\, case studies\, and future trends\, underscoring the transformative impact of coherent pluggables leading to convergence of IP and Optical layers. \nRegister Now

SUMMARY:Light Reading Optical Networking Digital Symposium: Driving Coherent Pluggables Across Data Centers and Metro Networks
DESCRIPTION:Optical networking innovation continues at a rapid pace as the industry moves into 2025. This symposium focuses on two important areas of innovation for the coming years\, each at different levels of maturity. \nGlobally\, operators are under tremendous pressure to boost revenues\, a requirement that is becoming particularly urgent as operators invest heavily in networks and spectrum licenses for 5G. Transport networks have a vital role to play in differentiated services and new revenue opportunities supporting 5G mobility and the edge and underpinning advanced wireline services. \nCoherent pluggables have come a long way since the first 400ZR modules were introduced in late 2019. The development of ZR+ modules and open specifications for longer reach\, and more flexible applications\, has added to the attraction of coherent pluggable modules for use in data center interconnect\, metro and even long-haul networks. \nAs the second generation of coherent pluggables are being deployed in Networks\, this session will explore the opportunities and challenges for service providers both today\, and into the future. \nThis session will address: \n\nCoherent pluggables today and the state of disaggregation.\nPushing coherent pluggable boundaries 800G ZR+ and Open ROADM\nInteroperability\, automation and the role of AI\nThe future of coherent pluggables including 1600ZR and 1600ZR+\n\nSpeakers\n\nSimon Stanley\, Analyst at Large\, Components & Subsystems\, Heavy Reading\nMoran Roth\, Director\, Product Management\, Juniper\nMarc Stiller\, VP Product Line Management\, Lumentum\nAnuj Malik\, Director\, Product Management and Strategy\, Acacia\n\nClick Here to Register
