3D Shaping
Introduced in the AC1200, 3D Shaping technology enables network operators to optimize capacity and reach by enabling the adjustment of optical transmission signal bandwidth, modulation format, and spectral efficiency with a very high level of resolution.
Adaptive Baud Rate
A key element of 3D Shaping is Adaptive Baud Rate which provides users with the ability to continuously adjust baud rate up to 70Gbaud to optimize optical transmission utilization of available spectrum within a passband.
