Vendors have been gearing up for 400G for several years. Now that the equipment is starting to become available, how will hyperscale providers, telcos and cable operators trial and deploy 400G this year, and what are their plans for 800G? The move to 400G requires new switches, Ethernet ports, optics and testing before it hits the mainstream.
