For the last 11 years, Acacia has supported the Annual Maynard Police Department’s “Toys for Kids” Drive in Maynard, MA. This has always been one of the highlights of our year as employees donate presents piled high in the lobby of our Maynard headquarters. Even though the pandemic has kept employees out of the office, there was no way we were going to miss helping the kids this year. We still have our giving hearts and that’s all we need. That and a computer and internet connection!
Virtual Toy Drive
Acacia employees are once again providing toys for Maynard children in need from the ages of 1 through 12 by sending unwrapped gifts directly to the Maynard Police Department. The Toy Drive is a great way to show kids how much the community cares about them and share the joy of the giving season.
We believe these gifts are more important than ever this year and we’re so happy to play our part in brightening their holidays. While we don’t have a picture of the gifts this year due to the drive being mostly virtual, here’s a snapshot of some of the toys from last year’s drive.
“Thank you in advance for all of the donations from Acacia employees,” said Sergeant Trista Manchuso from the Maynard Police Department. “We have been receiving packages at the station – and even received a check to donate to our toy drive. The kindness and generosity of the Acacia staff is very much appreciated.”
And…It’s not just local anymore
One of the benefits of a virtual toy drive is that anyone can give! If you’re looking for a good place to help out this holiday season, feel free to join us. Unwrapped gifts can be dropped off or delivered via mail. If you are unable to donate toys, you can still contribute by making a donation via check.
Please send the toys and donations by Dec 21st to the following address:

On behalf of all of us at Acacia, we wish you and your families a wonderful holiday season and healthy and prosperous New Year.
