EY Names Acacia Communications Leadership Team as Finalists for the “Entrepreneur of the Year New England Awards”

Since joining Acacia Communications as CEO in 2010, I have watched our company grow to tremendous new heights. This past year alone has been an exciting time to be a part of the Acacia family, as we’ve reached new thresholds in our first year as a public company.

I’m thrilled to share that the Acacia founders, Benny P. Mikkelsen, Mehrdad Givehchi, Christian J. Rasmussen, and myself, have each been named a finalist for EY’s Entrepreneur Of The Year® New England Awards. This competitive award celebrates New England’s most innovative business leaders, and we are truly honored to be included among so many other worthy finalists.

Past awards have honored the inspirational leadership of such entrepreneurs as Jeff Bezos of Amazon.com, Michael Dell of Dell Inc., Larry Page and Sergey Brin of Google, Pierre Omidyar of eBay, Inc., Matt Szulik of Red Hat, Andy Bechtolsheim and Jayshree Ullal of Arista Networks, among others.

On behalf of myself, Benny, Mehrdad and Christian, we look forward to celebrating this achievement among the finest leaders in New England at the awards gala dinner on June 27, 2017, at the Boston Marriott Copley Place.
